Lime Kiln Quarry is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including visitors using assistive technology such as screen readers or keyboard-only navigation.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, across the pages on this site. This is an ongoing effort — accessibility isn't a one-time checkbox, and we review and improve the site over time.

Semantic HTML structure and heading order throughout the site, so the page makes sense read top to bottom by a screen reader.

Descriptive alt text on meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from assistive technology.

Keyboard-navigable menus, buttons and accordions — everything clickable can also be reached and activated with a keyboard.

Motion that respects your system's reduced-motion setting — animations are minimized or skipped for visitors who've asked their device to limit motion.

Sufficient color contrast between text and its background throughout the site's dark theme.

As with most websites, some embedded third-party content — such as the interactive map on our Contact page — is provided by an outside service and may not be fully accessible. We're not able to modify that content directly, but we always provide the same information in plain text alongside it.

As an Ontario business, we're mindful of the intent behind the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and treat it as a floor, not a ceiling, for how we build this site.
